Expert Consultation Held to Strengthen the Capabilities of Dream Start Workers

Dream Start in Dongducheon-si, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 13th that it held the '2025 1st Supervision Meeting' to strengthen the capabilities of Dream Start workers on the 12th at the small conference room of Dongducheon City Hall.

At this meeting, Hwang Sang-yeon, the director of the Dongducheon Youth Counseling and Welfare Center, was invited as a manager. Five households experiencing complex difficulties such as psychological, behavioral, cognitive, and economic situations were selected, and the causes and maintaining factors related to the problems faced by the case management subjects were identified, and directions and strategies for problem-solving were established.

A Dream Start official said, “Through today’s meeting, we were able to deeply analyze the problems and symptoms to achieve goals that satisfy the subjects and learn new methods to bring about positive change,” adding, “We will conduct training to identify specific factors of various problems experienced by children and family members during case management and strive to find intervention plans to strengthen family functions.”
