The Yeongbuk-myeon Complex Cultural Plaza will be developed on approximately 1,300㎡ at 512-30 Uncheon-ri, Yeongbuk-myeon (former terminal site). It is expected to become a space where local residents visiting the city can relax throughout the four seasons and various cultural events can be held. Construction is planned to begin after the implementation plan approval in September, with completion targeted by the end of this year.

This residents' briefing session was organized to listen to residents' opinions on the Complex Cultural Plaza project and to provide information about the project plans.

During the briefing, residents' opinions were gathered regarding the plan to create a complex cultural plaza that combines cultural activities and relaxation, and the current status and future schedule of the project were explained.

A Pocheon City official stated, “The Yeongbuk-myeon Complex Cultural Plaza will serve as a resting place and cultural activity space for local residents,” adding, “We expect the complex cultural plaza to greatly improve the quality of life for residents, and we ask for their active cooperation.”
