Preventing Unauthorized Entry with 'Safe Delivery Management'
Monitor Multiple Stores at a Glance with 'Video Equipment Abnormality Monitoring'
Real-Time Crime Detection with Intelligent CCTV
Recently, there has been growing interest in security solutions that address various issues that can occur in franchise stores. Despite the economic downturn, the number of franchise stores continues to increase, and along with it, the incidence of crimes and safety accidents is also rising. As each store rolls up its sleeves to implement security solutions, S-1's franchise-tailored security solutions are gaining attention.
On the 14th, S-1 announced that inquiries about security solutions that can be introduced in franchise stores have surged recently. A representative example is the mobile-based 'Safe Delivery Management' service. This solution addresses security gaps that occur when franchise stores receive inventory late at night or early in the morning while the store owner is absent. By adopting this, the store owner can grant mobile access rights to delivery personnel without physical keys or cards, and after a set period, the system automatically switches to security mode. Entry notifications are also sent, allowing the store owner to monitor store access status at a glance.
'Video Equipment Abnormality Monitoring' is a solution designed for franchise headquarters or store owners operating multiple stores. Previously, even if there were CCTV or recording devices, it was difficult to immediately identify equipment status, often leading to response only after an incident occurred. This is especially challenging for stores operating at night. By implementing the video equipment abnormality monitoring service, if a problem arises with CCTV or recording devices at a store, an automatic alert is sent to the manager, and if necessary, specialized personnel visit the site to resolve the issue. This also reduces labor costs. Even if the headquarters or store owners do not have maintenance personnel, S-1 conducts unified inspections of video equipment status for each store, provides monthly reports, and immediately notifies of abnormalities through real-time monitoring.
AI-based intelligent CCTV and SVMS (Smart Video Management System) are optimized for convenience stores or fast-food outlets operating 24/7. This solution immediately sends an alert to the store owner if unexpected movement is detected in restricted access areas. Unlike simple recording, it provides instant alarms, enabling quick response in case of theft incidents.
The increased interest in S-1's franchise-tailored solutions is due to the severity of crimes targeting these stores. According to S-1's 2023 analysis, livelihood-related crime intrusion locations were highest in stores such as convenience stores, marts, and clothing stores, accounting for 44.2%. A security industry official stated, "Elements threatening store safety are becoming increasingly diverse, ranging from petty crimes like theft and shoplifting to violent incidents involving weapons," adding, "Security solutions that enable swift response when incidents occur are essential."
