Gyeongnam Nonghyup Holds Breakfast Promotion Event at Changshin University

Gyeongnam Nonghyup held a commemorative event for "Baekseolgi Day" (June 14) for students of Changshin University on June 13, ahead of the official day.

The event was attended by Lee Sangjin, Deputy Director of Gyeongnam Nonghyup, Kim Gapmun, Head of the Changwon Branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, Hong Dageom, Director of Student Career and Employment at Changshin University, as well as over 100 executives, staff members of Gyeongnam Nonghyup and Changshin University, and students.

Gyeongnam Nonghyup distributed 500 pieces of Baekseolgi and Sikhye to the students, explained the purpose of "Baekseolgi Day," and encouraged everyone to participate in the nationwide campaign to eat breakfast.

Lee Sangjin, Deputy Director of Gyeongnam Nonghyup, said, "I hope the students who participated in today's event have learned the importance of Korean rice and the proper benefits of eating breakfast," and added, "Gyeongnam Nonghyup will continue to promote the nationwide breakfast-eating campaign this year. We will do our best to contribute to the local community and increase practical benefits for farmers."

Meanwhile, Gyeongnam Nonghyup and Changshin University signed a business agreement in 2023 for rural community contribution and have been carrying out social contribution activities such as helping with farm work.
