The Korea Publication Culture Industry Promotion Agency announced on the 13th that it will start providing book inventory information services on the Integrated Publishing Distribution Network after receiving the book inventory status from Woongjin Booksen.

According to the Publication Promotion Agency, book inventory information can be checked in the 'Inventory Information Status' section of the publishing network. With the addition of Woongjin Booksen's inventory status following the Korea Publication Cooperative, local bookstores nationwide, Kyobo Bookstore, Yes24, and Aladin, convenience in inventory tracking has improved. It is now possible to perform integrated searches on the network without needing to check inventory status separately by logistics companies. Currently, 3,393 publishers are registered on the network.

An official from the Publication Promotion Agency stated, “With the sharing of Woongjin Booksen's inventory information, publishers can now grasp the flow of book distribution at a glance. The publishing network will continue to provide effective services for publisher operations.” He added, “This public-private cooperation is an important step in creating a healthy publishing distribution ecosystem. Like the film and performance networks, active cooperation among key players in the publishing industry is necessary.”
