Youth Training Center Campground Reopens for Spring

After the severe cold has passed and frogs awaken from their winter hibernation in Suhari, Subimyeon, Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk (Governor Oh Dochang), the 'Youth Training Center Campground' will reopen on March 21 (reservations available from March 13).

As spring arrives and all living things begin to stir, campers longing for nature will find their hearts awakened at the 'Youth Training Center Campground,' which welcomes visitors with 31 sites (16 decks, 15 gravel), shower facilities (with hot water), a book cafe, clean air, and beautiful natural scenery.

Last year alone, about 11,000 campers visited, and with facilities such as the Firefly Ecological Forest, observatory, and Youth Training Center where children can safely enjoy nature, even more visitors are expected this year.

Especially notable is that the campground is located within Asia's first 'International Dark Sky Park,' making it the perfect spot for stargazing.

With the sound of the flowing Suha Valley stream as background and the Milky Way pouring overhead, head to Yeongyang-gun's 'Youth Training Center Campground' to be among the first to enjoy spring.
