Jangseong-gun Family Center Launches Customized Support Program

The Jangseong-gun Family Center in Jeonnam recently held an opening ceremony and began operating its customized family support programs.

Jangseong County Family Center recently held an opening ceremony at the Family Happiness Center and officially began operating its programs.

According to the county on the 13th, about 100 residents attended the opening ceremony, which included introductions of the programs and instructors, the appointment of representative residents from Vietnam, China, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Japan, a block-building activity symbolizing the center, and a magic show. Additional events such as a center tour, photo zone, and SNS event were also provided, receiving a positive response from the residents.

The Jangseong-gun Family Center moved into the second floor of the ‘Jangseong-gun Family Happiness Center’ when it opened in November last year. This year, the center is operating a variety of family support programs, including not only multicultural projects but also programs for single-person households, experience classes for fathers and children, and horticultural therapy for mothers.

In addition, the center runs the shared parenting playroom ‘Ogambaldal Play Class’, a kids cafe, and a toy library. It also supports customized education for each stage of life, such as professional certification courses and citizenship acquisition classes for multicultural families, sports classes for children, and the youth musical club ‘Harang’.

County Governor Kim Hanjong said, “We will do our best to create an environment where children can grow up happily.”
