The Presidential Office expressed a welcoming stance on the Constitutional Court's decision on the 13th to dismiss the impeachment trial cases against Chief Auditor Choi Jae-hae, Seoul Central District Prosecutor Lee Chang-soo, and two other prosecutors.

In a press release that morning, the Presidential Office emphasized, "The Constitutional Court dismissed all four impeachment motions, which were baseless and unclear in their grounds, sounding a warning against the opposition party's excessive use of impeachment."

It added, "We hope that public officials will return to their duties as soon as possible and that state affairs will be normalized."

On the same day, the Constitutional Court unanimously, with all eight justices concurring, ruled that the grounds for impeachment presented by the National Assembly against Chief Auditor Choi Jae-hae, Seoul Central District Prosecutor Lee Chang-soo, and the other three prosecutors did not constitute violations of the Constitution or laws, and dismissed all cases.

Following the dismissal of the impeachment, Chief Auditor Choi and Prosecutor Lee immediately returned to their duties.
