Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Park Cheolhong, hereafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui-Yeolmae) and Korea Management Institute Co., Ltd. announced on the 13th that they have donated 10 million KRW to improve the learning environment for students with physical disabilities.
The donation ceremony, held on the afternoon of the 12th at Eunhye School, was attended by Kim Taegyun, Director of Korea Management Institute Co., Ltd., Park Heungcheol, Secretary-General of Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, Choi Oksun, Principal of Gwangju Metropolitan City Eunhye School, and related officials. The donated funds will be used to replace the electronic whiteboards at Eunhye School.
Kim Taegyun, Director of Korea Management Institute Co., Ltd., stated, "Society should support and encourage Eunhye School students so they can adapt as members of society, not just adapt to society itself. We supported this project to provide a better learning environment, even if only a little."
Park Heungcheol, Secretary-General of Gwangju Sarangui-Yeolmae, said, "We will strive to create opportunities for people with disabilities to develop and demonstrate their abilities through education, not just to provide convenience, but to help them grow as members of society."
