Inspections to Be Conducted at 67 Industrial Complexes Nationwide
Focus on Vulnerable Facilities and Safety Accident Prevention
The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced on the 13th that it will conduct special safety inspections during the thawing season safety inspection period to raise safety awareness and prevent safety accidents among tenant companies in industrial complexes and users of facilities owned by the corporation.
From the 5th to the 31st of this month, the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation plans to inspect and improve potential hazards that may occur during the thawing season at 67 industrial complexes nationwide. The inspections will mainly target vulnerable areas within the industrial complexes during the thawing season, new factory construction sites, and owned facilities, with a total of 80 inspections planned.

The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation has strengthened safety accident prevention projects through continuous on-site inspections of industrial complexes and cooperation with tenant companies and related organizations. As a result, there were no major accidents at construction sites commissioned by the corporation last year.
Lee Sang-hoon, Director of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, stated, “Through the thawing season safety inspections of industrial complexes, we will support the safe production activities of tenant companies,” and added, “We will minimize safety blind spots and promote a safety culture within industrial complexes.”
