He also argued that as the investigation system collapses, now the judicial system is also falling apart.

Earlier, Cheon, during a session of the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee the previous day, stated that the prosecution needs to immediately file an appeal regarding President Yoon Seok-yeol's cancellation of detention. The Supreme Prosecutors' Office announced to the press on the same day that they are "currently reviewing the situation related to the Legislation and Judiciary Committee."
