The National Gwangju Science Museum announced on the 13th that it is recruiting volunteers to improve the quality of visitor services and establish itself as an open space for local residents.
The recruitment is open to middle and high school students, university students, and adults from across the country, including Gwangju. Anyone interested in science can apply. The volunteer activities are divided into two categories: 'General Volunteers,' who assist with visitor guidance and maintaining order, and 'Specialized Volunteers,' who support science education and exhibition interpretation.
Volunteers can visit the Gwangju Science Museum free of charge, and specialized volunteers will receive reimbursement for expenses.
Jung Sehwan, a researcher at the Exhibition Operation Center, said, "We will provide training to enhance the capabilities of our volunteers and improve the quality of our operations," and added, "We hope for active participation from citizens who love science."
