Institutional Improvement Measures for Discovering New Private Investment Projects
Hapcheon County in Gyeongnam announced on the 13th that it held a job training session for approximately 60 staff members from project departments, inviting Kim Kisoo, a research fellow at the Gyeongnam Research Institute Public Investment Management Center, to speak on the topic of "Cases and Administrative Procedures in Promoting Private Investment Projects."
This training session covered in depth the implementation methods of private investment projects, project structure including calculation of project costs, rental fees, and operating expenses, promotion procedures, examples from other local governments, and institutional improvement measures for discovering new private investment projects.
County Governor Kim Yooncheol emphasized, "Our county is facing the risk of local extinction due to a steep population decline and entry into a super-aged society. To overcome this, improving regional infrastructure, revitalizing the economy, and enhancing residents' convenience are essential, and the role of public officials is more important than ever."
He added, "We will spare no effort in supporting the strengthening of public officials' work capabilities, just as we did with this expert-invited training."
Meanwhile, since the 6th, the county has been strengthening legal advisory services and expert consulting for the promotion of local financial investment projects, and is implementing comprehensive measures including support for job training in areas lacking expertise.
