Gimcheon City to Hold 'Smart Matching Job Fair' to Support Youth Employment

Customized Recruitment Event Held Monthly
Benefits Include Interview Support Allowance and Settlement Subsidy

Gimcheon City, North Gyeongsang Province, announced on the 12th that it will hold the '2025 Maewol Successful Employment Smart Matching Job Fair' on the 19th at the Grand Auditorium on the 3rd floor of the Gimcheon City Workers' Welfare Center.

This job fair has been organized to provide practical employment opportunities for young job seekers in the region.


Ten local companies with hiring plans will participate in the event, and job seekers can have one-on-one interviews through pre-registration or on-site registration.


In particular, on this day, announcer Han Seokjun will give a special lecture on 'Speaking for Happy Communication,' introducing effective communication methods for employment and workplace life.


A variety of side events will also be held, including free ID photo shoots, application document clinics, on-site labor law consultations, and personal color analysis, all designed to help job seekers prepare for employment.


Gimcheon City has also strengthened benefits for young job seekers participating in the job fair. Coffee coupons will be provided to those who have on-site interviews, and a 50,000 KRW interview fee will be given to job seekers who participate in interviews.


Additionally, young people who successfully find employment through the job fair will receive a job settlement allowance after three months of continuous employment, supporting their stable job placement.


A Gimcheon City official stated, "'The Maewol Successful Employment Smart Matching Job Fair' is a practical employment support event that directly connects local companies with job seekers," adding, "We will continue to develop various support measures to help young people find stable employment in the future."
