KOTRA's Shenzhen Trade Center plans to provide customized support from entry consultations to factory inspections so that our small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies can supply to Sam's Club.

Sam's Club is a warehouse membership store operated by Walmart. It has 53 stores in 26 cities across China. The number of members exceeds 5.5 million. More than 80% of the products sold at Sam's Club are imported goods. Upon entry, products are sold simultaneously at 53 offline stores nationwide in China and on the online platform.

According to KOTRA, Sam's Club expressed a desire to import mainly food, baby products, and daily necessities this year. For food, they prefer processed seafood snacks, health functional teas, cakes and other room-temperature desserts, as well as various frozen and refrigerated foods. Among baby products, they prioritized baby food, strollers, baby clothing, toys, and breast pumps. There is also high demand for daily necessities such as laundry detergent, kitchen grease remover detergent, dry sheets, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and dental floss.

KOTRA stated, "Sam's Club directly purchases imported products and sells them in stores, so suppliers do not need to bear inventory risks. However, Sam's Club carefully selects imported products that are likely to sell well in stores and requires suppliers to meet strict standards in the final stage before delivery, which is the factory inspection of the manufacturer."
