Seongbuk-gu Operates Permanent CPR Training Center at Public Health Center

Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) is establishing a permanent CPR training center to ensure the safety and protection of residents' lives and will conduct training sessions for the community.

The permanent CPR training center, which opened last month on the 6th floor of the Seongbuk-gu Public Health Center, provides education on CPR and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to enable immediate response in emergency situations.

Training sessions are held twice daily (weekdays at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM), where participants learn the theory and practice of CPR and AED use, allowing them to gain hands-on experience. Groups or residents wishing to participate can make reservations online (via the Seongbuk Learning Portal or the Seoul Public Service Reservation website) or by phone.

The district also supports CPR experience sessions, equipment rentals, and on-site CPR training to help as many residents as possible learn CPR. CPR experience sessions are available daily (weekdays) from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Residents can visit the training center during these hours to participate.

Mayor Lee Seung-ro stated, “This training is essential to save the lives of our family members and neighbors in emergency situations,” and added, “We hope for the active interest and participation of our residents.”
