A Special Assistant That Calls for Victory with the Meaning of "Checkmate"
Putting Made Much Easier with an Address Line
Outstanding Straightness and a Soft Touch
Ray Cook, which gained popularity with the SS series, has released the Checkmate putter.
Checkmate means a 'checkmate' in chess, a situation where the opponent cannot avoid an attack. It signifies a putter that can always decide victory. Checkmate is a new product that has completed patent registration simultaneously in Korea and Japan.
It features an address line, making aiming at the hole cup much easier. One putter can cover three types of lies. It accommodates various golfers: those who putt with the putter's lie as is, those who lift the heel part of the putter, and those who lift the toe part while putting. By setting it to the lie that suits the golfer, consistent putting is possible in any situation.
Additionally, it includes a face balance putter, a short slant neck, and head offset. This maintains a stable feel during address. The intersect face milling shortens the skid area, allowing the ball to roll quickly during putting, resulting in good straightness. The SUS304 head material provides a soft touch.
There are various models such as Checkmate #2, #3, #5, and #7. The loft is 2D, and the lie is 69D. Lengths range from 30 inches to 37 inches. The putter cover is embroidered with the phrase "the best yet to come."
