Ourhome's 'Gussi Banga Galchi Kimchi' Officially Launched Nationwide at Costco

Tasting and Sales Events Held Since August Last Year
Positive Consumer Response Leads to Official Listing

Ourhome announced on the 11th that its premium kimchi, 'Gussi Banga Galchi Kimchi,' has been officially listed in domestic Costco stores.

Gussi Banga Galchi Kimchi will be sold at Costco stores nationwide starting today, and the product weighs 1.6 kg, presented in a dedicated packaging box with a tasting note.

Gussi Banga Galchi Kimchi is Ourhome's flagship kimchi product. It uses domestically grown napa cabbage, radish, and red pepper powder, and contains 100% Korean galchi (hairtail fish). It is a matured kimchi, fermented for an optimal period to be ready to eat immediately. The continuous salting method preserves the crispness of the cabbage, and the seasoning, made with prepared galchi and various vegetables, is generously mixed and then cold-aged to create a deep and refreshing umami flavor.

Prior to this official listing, Ourhome held tasting and sales events nationwide, starting with Costco Cheongna and Songdo stores in August last year. Despite galchi being an unfamiliar main ingredient for kimchi, it received a warm response from consumers. Inside Ourhome, the Costco events are evaluated as having simultaneously increased brand awareness and sales.

An Ourhome representative said, "It is encouraging to expand our core sales channels by officially listing in Costco," adding, "As a result of expanding offline channels since last year, sales have been steadily increasing."
