Kim Dong-yeon Urges Dismissal of Yoon in Solo Placard Protest... June 10 at Suwon Station, June 11 at Gwanggyo Jungang Station

Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon has resumed his solo picket protest to demand the "impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol."


On the evening of the 10th, Governor Kim held a picket sign reading "Immediate Dismissal of the Traitor of Rebellion" at Suwon Station and began a one-person protest.


After the protest, he posted on his social media, saying, "I have started a solo protest near Suwon Station," and emphasized, "The completion of impeachment is only the dismissal of the traitor of rebellion."

Governor Kim will continue his solo picket protest at 8:30 a.m. on the 11th at the Suwon Gwanggyo Central Metropolitan Transfer Center.


Previously, Governor Kim participated in candlelight rallies in front of the National Assembly and held solo picket protests following President Yoon's declaration of emergency martial law in December last year. He first attended the candlelight rally in front of the National Assembly on December 7, last year, when the impeachment motion against President Yoon was submitted to the plenary session. He also attended candlelight rallies in Seoul on December 9 and 10 after finishing his work.


On December 11, after work, he held a solo protest on Na Hye-seok Street in Ingye-dong, Suwon, holding a sign that read "Arrest Yoon Seok-yeol Immediately! Impeach Immediately!!"


On March 1 of this year, Governor Kim also attended the "National Rally Urging the Impeachment of Yoon Seok-yeol" held by the five opposition parties, including the Democratic Party, at Anguk-dong Intersection.
