On the 10th, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, visited the railway diorama production factory for the creation of Nowon Train Village Building 2 (Italy Pavilion).
This visit was conducted to comprehensively inspect the railway diorama production process of Nowon Train Village Building 2 (Italy Pavilion) and to discuss construction plans to enhance its completeness.
In the morning, Mayor Oh visited the Korea Brass factory in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province to check the diorama production process, and in the afternoon, he visited the Magic Garage factory in Paju to inspect the production status and discuss construction plans.
In particular, discussions focused on implementing precise details, lighting, and train operation systems to realistically reproduce the cityscape and railway system of Italy.
The district previously created Nowon Train Village Building 1 (Switzerland Pavilion), a scaled-down reproduction of Switzerland, which received great acclaim. The Nowon Train Village Building 2 (Italy Pavilion) is scheduled to open in December this year, with plans to meticulously recreate train operations connecting Italy’s representative tourist spots such as Florence and Rome. This will allow visitors to experience Italy’s history and culture more vividly.
Mayor Oh Seung-rok of Nowon District said, “Following the Nowon Train Village Switzerland Pavilion, which has become a representative tourist content of Nowon District, the Nowon Train Village Building 2 (Italy Pavilion) is set to open,” adding, “We will carefully inspect the detailed production process to present the highest level of completeness.”
