Discount Event Wishing for a Successful Expo Starts from the 13th
Orchid selected as the grand prize winner at the 5th 2024 Hwasun Orchid Premium Expo. Provided by Hwasun County.
The 6th 2025 Hwasun Orchid Premium Expo, the representative festival for orchid enthusiasts in Korea, will be held at the Hwasun Hanioum Culture and Sports Center for two days starting on the 15th.
Hosted by Hwasun County and jointly organized by major domestic orchid organizations such as the Hwasun Orchid Association, the Korea Orchid Culture Association, and the Korea Orchid Preservation Association, the event will feature an exhibition of over 1,000 items.
The 2025 Hwasun Orchid Premium Expo aims to provide a platform for interaction among domestic orchid enthusiasts, while also offering various programs for general visitors to experience orchid culture. At the venue, visitors can not only view the exhibition but also purchase orchids and exchange information.
An orchid auction organized by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) will take place on the 15th from 3 p.m. for one hour, offering an opportunity to purchase rare orchids at reasonable prices.
On the opening day, the 15th, a congratulatory performance and exhibition viewing program are also scheduled at 2 p.m.
Lee Hobum, head of the Korea Orchid Industrial Complex Promotion TF, stated, "The Hwasun Orchid Premium Expo is not just an exhibition, but an important event where orchid enthusiasts can interact and promote the value of Korean Cymbidium goeringii."
Meanwhile, Hwasun County (Governor Koo Bokgyu) is holding a major event offering a 25% discount on all items to celebrate the successful hosting of the expo.
The event runs for four days from the 13th to the 16th. The 25% discount coupon is limited to a maximum of 50,000 KRW per item and is available only to members of Hwasun Farm. Additionally, the first 200 new members who join during the event period will receive a 4,000 KRW discount coupon.
