Dongducheon-si Disabled Sports Association to Hold 2025 Regular General Assembly Meeting

Report on Four Agenda Items Including Approval of Income and Expenditure Settlement
Appointment Letters Presented to Five New Directors and Eight Sports Organization Presidents

The Disabled Sports Association of Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Chairman Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 10th that it held the '2025 Disabled Sports Association Regular General Assembly' on the 7th.

The general assembly was attended by the Mayor of Dongducheon, five newly appointed directors, directors of the Disabled Sports Association, and presidents of sports organizations, totaling about 30 people. The assembly addressed four agenda items, including the 2024 business performance report and approval of income and expenditure settlements. Subsequently, appointment letters were awarded to the five new directors and presidents of eight sports organizations, including gateball and badminton.


Mayor Park Hyung-deok of Dongducheon City stated, "We will do our best to ensure that more people with disabilities can enjoy a healthy life through the welfare of the disabled and the development of community sports," adding, "We look forward to the continuous interest and active participation of the directors of the Dongducheon Disabled Sports Association and the presidents of the sports organizations."


Meanwhile, the Dongducheon Disabled Sports Association plans to support participation in various competitions starting with the 15th Gyeonggi-do Disabled Sports Competition opening in April, and to actively support disabled athletes through the operation of diverse community sports programs.
