The Tourism Taxi operates on a reservation-only basis, offering a customized service for tourists. Experienced taxi drivers guide and transport visitors to major attractions, allowing families, friends, couples, and various types of travelers to enjoy trips tailored to their preferences.

Uljin County is home to lush Geumgang Pine Forest trails, the beautiful East Sea, hot springs, and a wealth of scenic spots such as Seongnyugul Cave, Jukbyeon Coastal Sky Rail, and Wangpicheon Cable Car throughout the region. The introduction of the Tourism Taxi is being warmly welcomed as a result.

The taxi fare is 80,000 won for the first four hours, with tourists only required to pay 32,000 won; the remaining amount is subsidized by Uljin County. For each additional hour, tourists pay 8,000 won while Uljin County covers 12,000 won, with support available for up to eight hours.

This level of support is among the highest in the country, allowing many tourists to enjoy Uljin without financial burden.

Tourists wishing to use the service can make reservations through the integrated reservation system on the Uljin County Office website or by contacting the Culture and Tourism Division of Uljin County Office at least three days before their visit. The minimum usage time is four hours.

County Governor Son Byeongbok stated, "We expect the Tourism Taxi service to greatly contribute to revitalizing local tourism and enhancing visitor convenience," and added, "We will continue to improve the service to ensure tourist satisfaction in the future."
