Sahakyeongeum Achieves Highest Grade for Six Consecutive Years in 'Public Data Provision Evaluation'

High Scores Achieved Through the Opening of 19 New Data Types

The Private School Teachers' Pension Service (Sahakyeongeum) announced on the 10th that it received the highest grade of "Excellent" for the sixth consecutive year in the "2024 Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation" conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

This evaluation targets a total of 679 institutions, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions, assessing whether each institution has established and implemented measures to enable the private sector to utilize the public data they hold.

Sahakyeongeum received high scores in all three evaluation areas?▲Data Opening and Utilization, ▲Quality, and ▲Management System?through the opening of 19 new public data lists (a cumulative total of 172 types) and systematic data quality management.

In response to the transition to a digital platform government and the advent of the artificial intelligence (AI) era, Sahakyeongeum established the Digital Innovation Promotion Office last year and is leading efforts to expand public data disclosure and utilization support for the public through data-centered administration.

Song Hajung, Director of Sahakyeongeum, stated, “We will continue to make steady efforts to open new public data and enhance utilization, opening data with high private sector demand to guarantee the public’s right to know and lead the creation of social value.”
