Yangju City selected for the 'Drone Demonstration City Construction Project' for two consecutive years
Plans to officially launch the project after signing an agreement with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in March
Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 10th that it has been honored to be selected for the 'Drone Demonstration City Construction Project' hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport for two consecutive years.

Following this selection, Yangju City secured 50 million KRW in national funding and plans to officially launch the project after signing a business agreement with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in March.
In this project, Yangju's promising drone company, BCD ENC Co., Ltd., will participate in the consortium and play a pivotal role as the lead organization.
The drone delivery service will operate mainly around Nari Farm, Jangheung Tourist Site, and Jangheung Natural Recreation Forest, focusing on the swift and safe delivery of various daily convenience items, including groceries and medicines.
Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City stated, "Being selected for a national public project for two consecutive years will be an important turning point for the growth of the local drone industry," and added, "We will do our best to ensure that Yangju City, based on future-oriented advanced technology, can leap forward as a city leading the smart logistics era."
