[Featured Stock] KC Feed Eyes Asian Imports Amid US Egg Price Surge... Spotlight on Sterilized Liquid Eggs Sales↑

KCP Feed is showing strong performance. It is interpreted that this is influenced by news that egg prices are soaring in the United States, prompting Asian countries and others to explore egg imports.

As of 10:15 AM on the 10th, KCP Feed is trading at 3,015 KRW, up 11.67% compared to the previous day.

According to foreign media, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has reportedly inquired about export eggs to poultry organizations in Poland, the world's second-largest egg exporter, as well as France and Indonesia.

Recently, in the U.S., egg supply has decreased due to avian influenza, causing egg prices to rise sharply. According to the January U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) released last month, egg prices surged 53% compared to a year ago. To resolve the egg supply shortage, the U.S. needs to import 70 million to 100 million eggs within the next one to two months.

Korea is also exporting eggs to the U.S. Gyelim Farm in Asan City, Chungnam Province, has decided to export 20 tons of special eggs (11,172 trays, 335,160 eggs) to Georgia in the eastern United States. This is the first time eggs produced domestically are being exported to the U.S.

Meanwhile, KCP Feed operates a business purchasing eggs from contracted farms and manufacturing and selling liquid eggs. Liquid eggs are produced and sold in the forms of whole egg liquid, yolk liquid, and egg white liquid, classified according to their usage. The ratio of sterilized to non-sterilized products is about 50:50, but recently, the use of sterilized products, which ensure safety and have a longer shelf life than non-sterilized products, is gradually increasing.
