Samsung Biologics announced on the 10th that it will participate in 'DCAT Week 2025,' held in New York, USA, from the 17th to the 20th (local time).

DCAT Week is a global pharmaceutical and bio networking event that began in 1890, organized by the New York Chamber of Commerce. It has continued its tradition for over 130 years and is currently held annually by the DCAT Association (Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association). More than 90% of the participants are senior executives with decision-making authority, making it an event optimized for discussing partnerships between companies.

Samsung Biologics has participated in DCAT Week for 10 consecutive years since 2016, except for the year 2020 when the event was not held due to COVID-19. Samsung Biologics plans to set up a dedicated meeting room in a prime location at the venue and conduct more than 50 business meetings with global pharmaceutical companies over three days.

CEO John Rim will also attend in person. Having attended DCAT Week for three consecutive years from 2023 to this year, CEO John Rim will discuss strategic partnerships with key industry figures at this event. He will also focus on promoting Samsung Biologics' differentiated competitiveness as a leading global biopharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), accelerating results-driven global business expansion that leads to actual contract signings and new customer acquisitions.

On the last day of the event, the 20th, Samsung Biologics will participate as a sponsor in the main dinner event of DCAT Week alongside global CDMO companies such as Lonza and Thermo Fisher Scientific. Samsung Biologics plans to expand networking and build business partnerships with more than 2,500 key industry figures attending this event.

Additionally, Samsung Biologics plans to enhance brand awareness as a global CDMO through banners and promotional materials within the event venue.

Meanwhile, to broaden contact points with global customers and potential clients through participation in DCAT Week, Samsung Biologics will also attend the 'Festival of Biologics USA' held in San Diego, USA, in April, and the 'PEGS Boston Summit' held in Boston, USA, in May. The company plans to further strengthen its order acquisition activities through participation in various global conferences.
