Jungjingong Achieves Highest Grade for 6 Consecutive Years in Public Data Evaluation Report

Recognized for Excellence in Data Management, Openness, and Utilization

The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 9th that it has been selected as an ‘Excellent’ institution, the highest grade for six consecutive years, in the '2024 Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

The Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation is a system that evaluates 679 institutions including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions based on 11 detailed indicators across three areas: public data openness and utilization, data quality, and management system. The evaluation results are classified by score into ▲Excellent (80 points or above) ▲Average (60 points or above) ▲Poor (below 60 points).

The Small and Medium Business Corporation systematically manages data openness and received recognition for its policy efforts to enhance the utilization of public data, such as quality management of held data, achieving a score of 90.25, an increase of 8.25 points compared to the previous year.

In particular, it was highly evaluated for actively reflecting stakeholders’ opinions through expanding online and offline feedback and promotional channels, in-house proposal contests, and publishing public data booklets in E-book format, as well as maximizing public data utilization through various activities such as hosting public data utilization contests and public promotions considering digitally vulnerable groups.
