"Urging the Constitutional Court for a Prompt Ruling on President Yoon's Dismissal"
The five opposition parties, including the Democratic Party of Korea, the Joguk Innovation Party, the Progressive Party, the Basic Income Party, and the Social Democratic Party, on the 9th called for Prosecutor General Shim Woo-jung to voluntarily resign over President Yoon Seok-yeol's release issue, and stated that if he does not resign, they will push for impeachment proceedings.

Cho Seung-rae, chief spokesperson of the Democratic Party, and Kim Bo-hyeop, chief spokesperson of the Joguk Innovation Party, announced at the National Assembly that the leaders of the five opposition parties held a 'Roundtable Meeting for Joint Response to the Emergency Situation' and made this decision.
The leaders of the five opposition parties also decided to file a complaint against Prosecutor General Shim with the High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Office (PCC). The opposition claims that when the prosecution indicted President Yoon in January, Prosecutor General Shim delayed the process by holding a nationwide prosecutors' meeting to discuss whether to indict, which became a pretext for the recent release.
Furthermore, the five opposition parties decided to urge the Constitutional Court to promptly issue a dismissal ruling against President Yoon. They also agreed to closely cooperate by participating in outdoor rallies held by civil society until President Yoon is dismissed.
