Hand in Hand for "Daejabo City" and G-Pass Activation

Gwangju Transportation Corporation (President: Cho Ikmun) announced on the 9th that it recently signed a business agreement with Gwangju City Social Service Center (Director: Kim Daesam) to promote a citizen-centered transition to a "Daejabo City" and to activate the "Gwangju G-Pass."
Through this agreement, the two organizations agreed to pursue multifaceted collaborative projects for responding to climate change and realizing a green city in Gwangju, including policy support and strengthened citizen promotion to enhance the convenience and usage rate of the Gwangju G-Pass, joint programs for promoting public transportation, and various promotional activities to establish eco-friendly transportation methods.
Cho Ikmun, President of Gwangju Transportation Corporation, said, "I believe this agreement will serve as a foundation for expanding the culture of public transportation usage and driving Gwangju's transformation into a Daejabo City," adding, "We will continue to actively cooperate for Gwangju's sustainable development and to enhance transportation convenience for citizens."
Meanwhile, the corporation is carrying out various activities for carbon neutrality and the transition to a Daejabo City, such as the Daejabo commute challenge with employee participation, green transportation activation events with citizens, and Gwangju G-Pass promotion campaigns to expand public transportation usage.
