Evaluation Includes Financial Stability and Convenience for Residents
Daejeon Daedeok-gu has announced a public recruitment for a financial institution to operate as the district treasury for four years starting in 2026, as the current treasury contract period expires at the end of this year.
To select the next district treasury, the district will post an application notice on the official Daedeok-gu website and in the district newsletter on the 21st, and will hold a preliminary briefing session regarding treasury designation for local financial institution representatives on the 31st.
Eligible applicants are financial institutions with a headquarters or branch in Daedeok-gu. Applications and proposals must be submitted to the Daedeok-gu Tax Revenue Management Division on April 11 and 14.
After receiving proposals, the district will select the next treasury through deliberation by the Treasury Designation Review Committee in May and plans to sign a contract with the selected institution by the end of May.
The evaluation criteria for treasury designation include ▲the internal and external credit rating and financial stability of the institution ▲deposit and loan interest rates offered to the district ▲convenience for local residents ▲treasury management capabilities ▲contributions to the local community and cooperative projects with the district.
A Daedeok-gu official stated, "We will designate a financial institution as the district treasury through fair and objective deliberation to provide convenience to residents and contribute to the development of Daedeok-gu."
