Jangseong County in Jeonnam is accelerating the implementation of its '2025 Integrity Improvement Comprehensive Plan.'
According to Jangseong County on the 8th, the plan consists of a total of 41 detailed action tasks in three areas: improvement of external perception, internal perception, and integrity efforts. Notably, 17 new initiatives have been developed, and 24 existing ones have been supplemented.
To enhance external perception, the county will implement initiatives such as operating the 'Integrity On-call' service to increase civil complaint satisfaction, sending anti-corruption integrity text messages, operating the 'Integrity Citizen Auditor' to strengthen governmental audit functions, establishing the 'Path to Integrity,' and holding 'On-site Meetings' targeting corruption-prone areas.
For the improvement of internal integrity, the county will promote the 'Four Compliance Practices for Wise Workplace Life,' 'Integrity Relay,' 'Integrity Concert,' 'Integrity Live,' and establish a staff grievance counseling system.
In the area of integrity effort improvement, the county will introduce measures such as forming and operating the 'Integrity Communication Task Force,' signing integrity practice agreements with related organizations, holding contests for integrity-related phrases, messages, and ideas, operating the 'Integrity Photo Studio' with Jangseong's Eight Scenic Views as the backdrop, offering integrity promotional item craft experiences, and planting integrity trees.
Additionally, the county is preparing to form the 'Integrity Communication Task Force' to develop improvement measures for areas vulnerable to corruption.
County Governor Kim Hanjong stated, "With the mindset of serving the residents, who are the true owners of a growing Jangseong, we will do our utmost to improve integrity."
