The meeting was attended by a total of 32 people, including Mayor Kang Su-hyun, 14 heads of related departments, Lee Kwang-ho, president of the Hoecheon New Town Association, and 16 resident representatives, providing an in-depth discussion on various issues directly proposed by the residents.

In particular, rather than just holding a simple meeting, the mayor demonstrated proactive actions by visiting the sites to identify problems and seek solutions, strengthening trust through sincere communication with the residents.

A total of 27 proposals were discussed that day, including issues closely related to residents' lives such as ▲installation of streetlights in Gojangsan Urban Forest ▲plaza development at Deokgye Station ▲establishment of a library within Hoecheon New Town ▲additional trains on Line 1 at Deokgye Station ▲expansion of childbirth support funds ▲requests for investigation into smoke and odor.

Mayor Kang Su-hyun and the heads of related departments carefully reviewed the feasibility of each agenda item and provided thoughtful responses regarding their implementation possibilities.

Additionally, for some items requiring on-site verification, such as ▲establishment of a library in the first phase area of Hoecheon New Town ▲deployment of security guards for school commuting at Pureunsaem Elementary and Pureunsaem Kindergarten ▲installation of a central crosswalk on Hoecheon Jungang-ro ▲Magamicheon stream improvement project ▲Deokgye Station plaza project, they showed an active attitude by directly inspecting the actual conditions.

After confirming the core demands and concerns of the citizens that day, Mayor Kang stated that he would propose the most efficient and satisfactory alternatives through cooperation with related departments and agencies and continuous communication with the citizens, reaffirming his commitment to accelerating the development of Hoecheon New Town.

President Lee Kwang-ho said, "Today's meeting was more meaningful than any other meeting," and added, "Our Hoecheon New Town Association will join hands with Yangju City to create a more developed Hoecheon New Town."

Mayor Kang Su-hyun said, "It is important not to end the issues you directly proposed with simple discussions but to find solutions that can be implemented by verifying them on-site," and added, "We will actively reflect the voices of citizens in policies to bring about practical changes."

He continued, "Since Yangju City and the Hoecheon New Town Association are a community growing together, we will continue to communicate with residents and promptly resolve inconveniences."

Meanwhile, the city expects that this field-centered meeting will further strengthen cooperation among Hoecheon New Town residents and plans to continue leading regional development through proactive administration on the ground.
