Busan Gijang County Launches Safety Supplies Support Project for Single-Person Households

Support for Portable Emergency Alarms and Window Lock Devices

Gijang-gun, Busan is implementing the "Safety Supplies Support Project for Single-Person Households" to create a safe residential environment for single-person households.

This support project aims to provide crime prevention supplies, such as protection against home intrusion and theft, to 50 single-person households.

The supported items include: ▲ a "portable emergency alarm" that emits a warning sound in case of emergency and can send location information to a pre-designated contact; ▲ a "window lock device" that is installed on the window frame to prevent the window from opening beyond a certain point.

The application period for support is from March to May 30. Applicants must meet both of the following conditions: ▲ a single-person household or a legally recognized single-parent family registered in Gijang-gun; ▲ a tenant with a Jeonse conversion value of 200 million KRW or less, or a homeowner with an individual official land value of 200 million KRW or less. However, those who benefited from last year's "Gijang-gun Women's Single-Person Household Safety Home Set Support" are excluded from this support.

Residents who wish to apply can download the application form from the "Notices" section on the Gijang-gun website, fill it out, and submit it via email or in person to the Family Welfare Division at the county office. For more details, please refer to the announcement on the Gijang-gun website.
