A Musical Journey to the Historic and Cultural City of Goryeong

Goryeong County (Governor Namcheol Lee) will present the Daegaya myth musical "The Stolen Bird" to local residents and domestic and international tourists at Daegaya Munhwa Nuri at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM on the 30th, during the Daegaya Festival period.

"The Stolen Bird" is a musical that encapsulates the wisdom of harmony between people and nature in mythology, energetically depicting the commotion surrounding earthenware found in the tombs of Jisandong, Goryeong.

The Daegaya Jisandong Tombs, which serve as the backdrop for the story, are a historic site registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Since its UNESCO inscription, Goryeong County has been designated as the Daegaya Ancient Capital and is preparing to become a leading historical and cultural city in Korea.

Featuring top actors and musicians, this performance is part of the Daegaya Festival, which has been selected as the "2024~2025 Korea Culture and Tourism Festival." It aims to promote the beautiful history and culture of Daegaya, adding laughter and emotion to create unforgettable memories for the audience.

This performance is hosted by Gyeongbuk Province and Goryeong County, organized by the Goryeong County Tourism Association, and supported by the Yeongnam Ilbo. Tickets can be purchased on-site on the day of the performance, and more details are available on the Goryeong County website.
