Hankook Tire Launches 'Dynapro HT2' All-Season Tires for SUVs and Pickups

Successor to the 'Dynapro HT' to Launch Globally
Enhanced Durability and Reduced Noise with Improved Performance

Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) announced on the 7th that it will launch the 'Dynapro HT2,' a tire dedicated to sports utility vehicles (SUVs) and pickup trucks, in the global market.

As the successor to the existing on-road tire 'Dynapro HT,' it enhances overall performance to support stable driving throughout all seasons.

The latest compound with improved abrasion resistance increases mileage (tire lifespan) by up to 13%, while handling and braking performance on wet roads have improved by 7% and 6%, respectively. By increasing the number of sipes (fine grooves on the tire surface), it also enhances grip and driving performance on snowy roads. Additionally, noise reduction technologies such as a narrow lateral groove design and optimized multi-pitch arrangement reduce road noise by up to 2 decibels (dB).

A Hankook Tire representative stated, "The Dynapro HT2 will be available in a total of 57 sizes, broadly meeting the diverse needs of global SUV and pickup truck customers."
