'Gukmin-i Meonjeoimnida' written by former People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon ranked first in the comprehensive bestseller list for the first week of March upon its release. According to Kyobo Bookstore's bestseller rankings compiled from sales between February 26 and March 4, 'Gukmin-i Meonjeoimnida' newly entered at number one. The book began pre-order sales on online bookstores on February 19 and was officially published on February 28.

An analysis of the book's buyers showed that readers aged 60 and above accounted for the highest proportion at 27.0%, followed by those in their 40s (24.9%) and 50s (21.3%). By gender, female buyers (56.6%) outnumbered male buyers (43.4%). In terms of gender sales ratio, female readers (56.6%) purchased more than male readers (43.4%).

Former leader Han, who officially resumed public activities starting with a book concert on March 5, attracted attention by asserting at the book concert held at the Youth Culture Space JU in Mapo-gu that "a constitutional amendment is necessary for an 'era change, not just a player change'." He pointed out, "Since 1987, martial law and impeachment have been in the constitution, but after not being used for decades, they have all been used in recent years," adding, "(Politics) has turned into a jungle game where people throw pots, pans, and pickaxes at each other while fighting."
He continued, "If we leave this system as it is, the situation will become more cruel and severe," emphasizing, "To change that, the person who becomes the leader this time needs to promise to shorten their term and hold elections accordingly, which requires a sacrificial promise." At the lecture, over 150 university students as well as People Power Party lawmakers including Go Dong-jin, Kim So-hee, Park Jeong-hoon, Woo Jae-jun, Jin Jong-oh, and Han Ji-a attended, with many pro-Han faction lawmakers present.
