Professor Na Changsu of Dongshin University Elected President of the Korean Society of Oriental Medical Diagnostics

Professor Changsoo Na, Department of Korean Medicine, Dongshin University.

Dongshin University announced on the 7th that Professor Na Changsu of the College of Korean Medicine was elected as the 8th president at the recent 2025 General Meeting of the Korean Society of Korean Medical Diagnostics. His term will last for two years, until February 2027.

Professor Na has contributed to the advancement of academic societies and institutions by serving as Dean of the College of Korean Medicine at Dongshin University, President of the Meridian and Acupoint Society, expert member in the field of Basic Korean Medicine at the National Research Foundation of Korea, expert member of the Medical Device Committee at the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and expert member of the National Science and Technology Council.

Currently, with support from the Ministry of Science and ICT, he is leading the Dongshin University Microbiome Well-Aging Project Group, the Acupoint and Acupuncture ICT Convergence Research Project Group, and serves as Head of the Depression Control Research Division at the Leading Research Center (MRC), focusing on the development of core technologies in the field of bio-Korean medicine.

Professor Na stated, "To promote the academic development of Korean medical diagnostics, I will actively gather a wide range of opinions from our members and systematically pursue practical implementation plans. I will do my best to facilitate academic exchanges among members and ensure that the society becomes a center for research and collaboration."
