Suwon-si Recruiting 30 Students for Welfare Job Program for People with Disabilities

The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting 30 students to participate in this year's Welfare Jobs for the Disabled (Special Education-Linked) program from the 12th to the 14th of this month.


The Welfare Jobs for the Disabled (Special Education-Linked) program provides opportunities for vocational experience to unemployed students majoring in special education at special schools and third-year students in special classes at high schools, supporting their independent living.


Suwon-si Recruiting 30 Students for Welfare Job Program for People with Disabilities Suwon City Hall

Students who wish to participate can apply through their current schools. Candidates will be selected by combining scores from the first document screening and the second interview screening.


Selected students will work up to 14 hours per week (56 hours per month) at their enrolled schools until December 31, performing tasks such as meal assistance, caf? assistance, and environment cleaning.


A Suwon city official stated, "This program supports independence by providing opportunities for job experience in the public sector before entering society," and added, "We hope many special education major students and third-year high school students in Suwon participate."
