KOSHA Gyeongnam Eastern Branch Holds Industrial Accident Prevention Support Project Briefing Session

The Gyeongnam Eastern Branch of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Branch Manager Ahn Wonhwan) held an industrial accident prevention support project briefing session for workplaces located in Gimhae.

This briefing session was attended by officials from the Yangsan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Gyeongnam Eastern Branch of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, and member companies of the Gimhae Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The session focused on projects that workplaces can apply for and receive support from the agency, such as risk assessment consulting, safe workplace creation support, safety partnership support projects, industrial accident prevention facility loans, and industrial accident prevention rate system employer education.


This industrial accident prevention support project briefing session was the second one, following the first session held in Yangsan on February 26. At the Yangsan session, various support projects for the prevention of industrial accidents were also introduced, encouraging active participation from workplaces.


Ahn Wonhwan, Branch Manager of the Gyeongnam Eastern Branch of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, emphasized, "I hope that business owners and safety officials who attended this briefing session will take a keen interest in the agency's various support projects. We will strive to provide timely support for the necessary projects at each workplace to help prevent industrial accidents in the region."
