Creating a Specialized Road Environment
Kwak Hyunjun, Head of the Daegu Gyeongbuk Branch of Korea Expressway Corporation, held a tree-planting event on the 6th in the median strip near the Chilgok (Busan-bound) rest area on the Gyeongbu Expressway, wishing for the successful hosting of 'APEC 2025 KOREA'.
Korea Expressway Corporation Gyeongbuk Headquarters is conducting a tree planting event on the 6th to pray for the successful hosting of APEC 2025.
This event was organized to provide a beautiful road environment for major visitors ahead of the APEC Summit to be held in Gyeongju this October. In particular, the planting of tricolor Mugunghwa, symbolizing harmony and cooperation among APEC member countries, added significance to the occasion.
The Korea Expressway Corporation plans to continue landscape improvement projects, such as maintenance around Gyeongju IC, in addition to this event, aiming to create a pleasant and beautiful specialized landscape throughout all four seasons.
Kwak Hyunjun, Head of the Daegu Gyeongbuk Branch, said, "As this is an event attended by world leaders, we will do our best to create a clean and dignified road environment," adding, "We will continue to work with related organizations to provide customers with a more pleasant expressway environment."
