A man in his 50s who swung a bottle and injured a colleague while drinking together at a restaurant was arrested by the police.
The Pyeongtaek Police Station in Gyeonggi announced on the 6th that they arrested a man in his 50s, Mr. A, on charges of aggravated assault.
Mr. A is accused of hitting his colleague, a man in his 20s, Mr. B, with a soju bottle at a restaurant in Segyo-dong, Pyeongtaek City, around 8 p.m. the previous day, causing injury. The police responded to a report from a witness at the restaurant and arrested Mr. A at the scene.
Mr. B reportedly sustained injuries to his neck and other areas and received treatment at a nearby hospital.
Mr. A stated that "he does not clearly remember the incident because he was intoxicated at the time of the crime."
