Warm Next Week, but Chilly in the Mornings and Evenings
From the afternoon of Sunday the 9th, fully spring-like weather is expected to unfold.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 6th, on Saturday the 8th, high pressure systems will be positioned both to the east and west of South Korea, causing southeasterly and northwesterly winds to blow into the country. As the southeasterly and northwesterly winds converge and rise, a rain cloud band will form, bringing 5 to 10 mm of rain to Jeju from early morning to afternoon on the 8th, and around 5 mm of rain to Honam. Other southern regions may also experience rain due to atmospheric instability.

On the 9th, under the influence of high pressure, the entire country will be clear. With southwesterly winds, temperatures will begin to rise from the daytime of the 9th. Looking at the expected temperatures, on the 8th, both morning (between -3°C and 5°C) and daytime (8 to 13°C) temperatures will be similar to the average seasonal temperatures, while on the 9th, morning temperatures (between -4°C and 5°C) will be around average, and daytime temperatures (10 to 15°C) will be higher than the average seasonal temperatures.
The average temperatures for this time of year are lows between -4°C and 4°C, and highs between 8°C and 12°C. Next week, temperatures are expected to remain 2 to 5 degrees Celsius above average. However, although it will be mild during the day, mornings and evenings will be chilly, with a daily temperature range of around 10 degrees Celsius.
On the 10th to 11th and the 13th, low pressure systems and troughs will pass south of Jeju, possibly bringing rain under their influence.
