Donation of 117.62 Million KRW in Partnership Card Accumulation Fund
BNK Gyeongnam Bank donated 117.62 million KRW from the 2024 partnership card accumulation fund to Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, on the 6th.
At the handover ceremony held in the reception room of the city hall, three bank officials, including Jang Geum-yong, the 1st Deputy Mayor of Changwon Special City, and Heo Jong-gu, Head of BNK Gyeongnam Bank Changwon Sales Group, attended.
The partnership cards agreed upon by Changwon City and BNK Gyeongnam Bank include seven types such as the Sae Changwon Sarang Card, accumulating and donating 0.2 to 0.5% points of usage amounts for one year, contributing to the increase of the city's tax revenue.
Since 2010, Changwon City has received a total accumulation fund of 1.761 billion KRW, which has been used as resources for welfare and current projects.
Heo Jong-gu, Head of the Changwon Sales Group, said, “We will continue to operate various programs that can grow together with the local community.”
Deputy Mayor Jang responded, “We will strive to ensure that the donated funds lead to meaningful results,” adding, “We hope Gyeongnam Bank will work together to overcome the difficult situation of the local economy.”
