The Guri City Council will open the 346th extraordinary session from the 10th to the 14th to ask emergency urgent questions and review and approve the '2025 1st Supplementary Budget for General and Special Accounts.' Since this supplementary budget includes legally mandatory expenses and major current project costs, the order of emergency urgent questions, which was suspended during the 345th extraordinary session, will be changed to the last order of the 1st plenary session for smooth review and approval.

The Special Committee on Administrative Affairs Investigation related to attracting large live fish distributors in Hanam (Hwangsan) held its 1st meeting and appointed Kwon Bong-su as chairman and Kim Yong-hyun as secretary. By April 30th, the committee plans to clarify various facts regarding the project promotion process related to attracting large live fish distributors to the Guri Agricultural and Marine Products Corporation in Hanam (Hwangsan) and prepare constructive measures. The plan will be approved through the 346th extraordinary session.

Chairman Shin Dong-hwa said, “In the last extraordinary session, due to the mayor’s absence from the emergency urgent questions, the review of the agreement on adjusting the lease area of Lotte Mart in Building A of Guri Distribution Complex Market and the prior maintenance of facilities almost could not be properly conducted. However, to promote the opening of Lotte Mart in May, the Guri City Council did its best to review and approve it,” and added, “Going forward, the Guri City Council will continue to be a council that strives to create the Guri City that citizens want.”
