"Laugh joyfully, Lilac, the springtime of my life, with the face of affection."
Kyobo Life Insurance announced on the 6th that it has renovated the Gwanghwamun billboard for spring with a line from the poem "Lilac" by poet Heo Su-gyeong (1964?2018).
This message conveys the idea of forgetting the past and moving forward toward a better tomorrow. The design features a scene of fully bloomed spring flowers scattering in all directions to effectively express the meaning of the message.
Poet Heo debuted in 1987 through Silcheon Literature. She received the Yi Yuk-sa Poetry Literature Award for her poetry collection "At a Station No One Remembers." She also won the Dongseo Literature Award for "My Soul Is Old." This spring edition will be displayed until the end of May at the Kyobo Life Insurance Building in Gwanghwamun and the Kyobo Tower in Gangnam.
