'G-Space Dongbu' is a youth startup hub facility in the eastern Gyeongnam region, established by Gyeongnam Province and Yangsan City to improve the poor startup infrastructure in eastern Gyeongnam. It was created with a total investment of 2.2 billion KRW (including 1.4 billion KRW in national funds) within the Yangsan Future Design Convergence Center (Busan National University Road, Mulgeum-eup) and opened in December 2023. The Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center, a specialized local startup hub institution, currently operates it.
Last year, 'G-Space Dongbu' supported a total of 74 startups within 7 years of establishment and trained 169 startup talents and experts. The supported companies achieved sales of 13.7 billion KRW, attracted investments of 6 billion KRW, and created 107 jobs.

The Start-up task aims to spread startup culture and discover and support promising startups in the region through ▲Con-Project (training young business leaders) ▲G-Space Dongbu resident company discovery and nurturing project ▲support projects for preliminary and early-stage startups.
To accelerate business growth and support accelerating, the plans include ▲accelerating support linked to startup investment funds ▲support projects for innovative startup accelerating. For Scale-up support, the plans include ▲crowdfunding support for Yangsan startup companies ▲startup company promotional content production support projects ▲digital marketing support projects.
In particular, to strengthen promotional and marketing support for startups, the newly launched projects this year?crowdfunding support for startups, startup promotional content production support, and startup digital marketing support?are expected to greatly aid business growth by providing customized marketing and market development support for startups.
Details of each project can be found on the Yangsan City Hall website or the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center website under the ‘Project Announcements’ section. For project inquiries and startup consultations, contact the 'G-Space Dongbu' operations office.
