NH Investment & Securities announced on the 6th that it held a 'Sharing Love, Blood Donation' event for its employees. The blood donation event took place on the 5th at Yeouido Park One NH Financial Tower, with 110 employees participating.
The NH Investment & Securities Sharing Love, Blood Donation event has been held three times a year since 2015, with voluntary participation from employees. Notably, during this blood donation event, a separate ceremony was held to award the 'Supreme Honorary Medal' for blood donation merit from the Korean Red Cross to an employee who achieved 300 blood donations, sharing a more meaningful message about social contribution.
Yoon Ja-jung, Director of the Digital Asset Management Division, who received the Supreme Honorary Medal, has been practicing life-sharing since 1982 when he was a high school student. Director Yoon said, "I actively started blood donation activities in my late 30s, and I think it is a win-win situation as it saves other lives and helps manage my health." He added, "I plan to consistently manage my health with the goal of reaching 400 blood donations, and I hope many people will join in blood donation."
NH Investment & Securities is actively engaged in various social contribution activities, including receiving a commendation plaque for blood business merit from the Korean Red Cross in 2023. The company plans to continue not only employee blood donation events but also various social contribution activities. Lim Cheol-soon, Head of the ESG Division at NH Investment & Securities, said, "We hold the blood donation event every year with the belief that our small act can save someone's life," and added, "NH Investment & Securities will continue to fulfill its social responsibilities through diverse social contribution activities."
