In February, two institutions in the Busan area were selected as specialized training institutions for veterans announced by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs to support smooth social reintegration through vocational training aimed at enhancing the employment capabilities of mid- to long-term service veterans, and Shilla University Lifelong Education Center was included among them.

On the 26th of last month, a business agreement ceremony was held at the Busan Regional Veterans Office with key officials from both institutions, including Kim Soon-seok, Director of Shilla University Lifelong Education Center, Kim Geon-hee, Director of Busan Veterans Support Center, and Jeong Bok-gyo, Director of Daehan Global Academy, to support the smooth social reintegration of veterans.

Through this agreement, the two institutions promised to actively cooperate in curriculum development and employment support to assist veterans in their social reintegration.

Shilla University Lifelong Education Center plans to develop customized education reflecting veterans' preferences and will conduct a special security guard training (residential) program for veterans in July.

Kim Soon-seok, Director of Shilla University Lifelong Education Center, said, “We have been selected annually as a specialized training institution for veterans and have been operating various programs to fully support veterans' social reintegration. We will do our best to help veterans achieve successful employment by utilizing the professional and systematic education and infrastructure of the Department of Police Administration faculty in the special security guard training scheduled for July.”
