Officials to Lead the Discovery of Innovative Policy Ideas for Citizens
Guri City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 6th that it held the inauguration ceremony of the ‘2nd Guri City Open Administration Future Innovation Preparation Team,’ composed of city officials, on the 5th at the situation room on the 3rd floor of City Hall to develop innovative policies for citizens and provide high-quality administrative services.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun and about 20 members of the Future Innovation Preparation Team. The event proceeded in the order of ▲presentation of appointment letters ▲discussion on the operation direction of the preparation team ▲group meetings. They engaged in in-depth discussions to set feasible policy directions among various research topics such as a smart future city, a livable economic city, and a culture-centered young city.
Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri City told the preparation team members, “You, who were appointed today, will play an important role as messengers of city administration through the preparation and research review process of administrative policies applicable to our city administration over the next two years,” and added, “Please do your best to build trust through communication with citizens and to lead practical changes by collecting diverse opinions.”
Going forward, the 2nd Open Administration Future Innovation Preparation Team plans to discover various administrative ideas through regular meetings, supplement the promotion direction through policy report sessions, and promote innovative policies that keep pace with the changing administrative environment.
